Why FOB exists
WARDOGS gives players a growing set of progression systems, currencies, classes, seasons, and social play. FOB was built to give players a cleaner place to review the information associated with their own Operator and, where they choose, compare progress with other players through opt-in boards and Units.
The project is designed around a simple rule: show real observed data when it is available and clearly say when it is not. FOB does not create fake statistics to fill empty spaces, and a cached value is not treated as proof that a live WARDOGS session is healthy.
What FOB provides
During the Open Beta, Rack showed Operator progression, Connect handled Steam identity, and Units provided community grouping. Version 1 is now a read-only archive: Board, Season and public Racks remain available, while Steam sign-in, syncing and Unit management are closed.
Some features depend on data returned by WARDOGS and may be unavailable when the game service is offline, changed, rate-limited, or no longer exposes a value FOB previously observed. We prefer to fail closed or show an unavailable state rather than silently substitute unverified data.
Independent community project
FOB is a fan-made community project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with Bulkhead Interactive or Team17. WARDOGS names, trademarks, artwork, and other game intellectual property belong to their respective owners.
The site does not claim to be an official WARDOGS service or official leaderboard. Where FOB provides rankings, Unit membership, or community features, those are FOB features unless explicitly identified otherwise.
How we approach player data
During the Open Beta, Steam sign-in established player identity; FOB never asked for your Steam password. Archive pages now use only frozen public progression data and do not sign in to Steam or contact WARDOGS.
We are building Version 2 while keeping the captured Open Beta standings available as a historical reference.
Advertising
FOB may use advertising to help cover the cost of operating the site. Ads are intended to support the project without becoming the purpose of the site or interfering with the tools. Our goal is to keep advertising clearly separated from navigation, account actions, and core game-data interactions.
